You can now pick up a Tiny Art Show kit from the Elk River Library, while supplies last! Connect with your inner artist in our Tiny Art Show! Use what is in the kit and other materials, create your own 3in X 3in masterpiece. Bring in your finished artwork with a completed information slip by September 25 to be on displayed through the month of October. The library reserves the right to exclude any work. Artist can pick up their artwork in November. For ages 13 and up. This program was made possible by funding from the Friends of the Elk River Library.

Pulp Pages with Now.Make.Art.
Dive into the universe of papermaking through a fully hands-on process using repurposed materials! Participants will customize paper pulp with seeds, petals, and dyes and leave with a one-of-a-kind sheet of handmade paper to use, share, or plant in the ground. Works best for ages 3+ with a special focus on ages 9 to 12. This program was made possible with Arts & Cultural Heritage Funds from Minnesota's Clean Water, Land, and Legacy Amendment.

WonderWeavers present “Growing Stories: No Fertilizer Required!”
What happens when you plant a tiny seed but grow an enormous carrot? What if seeds could talk? What happens when an earthworm eats too much? Will the candy seed sprout? They will need your help to uncover the answers to all these questions. These imaginative stories are interactive and fun! For all ages. No registration necessary. Jack Norton’s Plant a Seed, Read
Toot! Toot! Are you ready to rock out at your library this summer? Conductor Jack is bringing his instruments and some puppet friends for a fun dance party based on our Summer Reading Challenge theme: Plant a Seed, Read! Travel back in time as Conductor Jack plays live music on guitar, ukulele, harmonica, kazoo, and more – while introducing young children to the world of music, movement, and educational fun!
