On the Great River Road we have completed construction on Site 2 (On Great River Road approximately 2.4 miles south of North Buena Vista) and will be opening this bridge on Friday, May 1, 2026.

On Monday, May 4, 2026, Site 1 (Great River Road in North Buena Vista) will be closed to through traffic from Tollgate Ave to HWY 52 with a posted detour. See picture below for project map.

Clayton County Secondary Roads will be closing Fox Ave for a bridge replacement project on April 8th 2026.

We will be starting on the project with a closure to through traffic from Elm Rd to Littleport Rd. PLEASE NOTE, for access to 911 address 32933 Fox Ave Edgewood, IA 52042 will have to be from the south (Littleport Rd). The estimated duration of the bridge replacement project is approximately 2-3 months.
