The 50th anniversary celebration of the Northeast Research and Demonstration Farm is happening September 10 in Nashua!

The Dog Project group is having a fun dog show on Sunday, September 27 to help raise money for new dog agility equipment. Classes include costume class, rally obedience and agility. Three divisions- 3rd grade and under, 4th-12th grade and adult. They will also be having a silent auction.

1st place Banana Muffin Challenge Recipe-Clayton Henkes, Monona Jr. Feeders
1 1/2 C Flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt
pinch of nutmeg
3 ripe bananas
1/2 C sugar
1/3 C melted butter
1/4 C brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
Crumb Topping:
1/3 c brown sugar
2 TBSP flour
1/8 tsp cinnamon
1 TBSP butter
Pre heat oven to 350. Prepare tins with 12 liners or grease.
Sift first six dry ingredients. mash bananas and stir in sugars, butter, egg and vanilla. Fold into flour mixture. Mix crumb topping with pastry cutter. Fill 12 tins 2/3 full. Sprinkle on topping. Bake approximately 20 minutes.
