Copper had the privilege today of welcoming kids off their planes at the Milwaukee Airport as about 150 kids from around the country were arriving to attend a week long camp for children who have lost a police parent in the line of duty!

Keep K9 Tesla and handler in your thoughts and prayers!

Hey there everyone. We have some bad news. Tesla had a stroke in her spinal cord yesterday. Her dad was with her when it happened and she was immediately brought to WVRC (Wisconsin Veterinary Referral Center) for care. After countless exams, we know what’s wrong and it’s unfortunately not fixable with her mobility being significantly impacted. We are working through what is best for her and are making decisions based on that alone. She is now home and resting.

We wanted you to know what we know. It’s an incredibly rough day around here and we promise to keep her as comfortable as possible.

Today we had the kindergarten class from Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah School District visit for their community day. They learned about voting from the Clerks Office and had a tour of the squad car from Chief Meeusen and Copper.
