Today we recognize Magnolia Bridegroom, a 4th grade student at Concord Ox Bow Elementary, for her incredible bravery and quick thinking.

At just 9 years old, Magnolia performed life saving CPR on her father, a remarkable act that demonstrated courage far beyond her years.

The American Heart Association visited to honor Magnolia, along with her mother, Jamie Bridegroom, and Concord Ox Bow Elementary PE teacher, Susan Krizmanich, for their roles in this inspiring story.

We are so proud of Magnolia and grateful for the importance of CPR education and preparedness. Congratulations on this well deserved recognition!

Concord Community Schools is now partnering with EduStaff for substitute staffing services.

Individuals interested in becoming a substitute can apply online through EduStaff at any time at Edustaff.org/jobs. If you have questions about the application process or would like assistance with registration, an EduStaff representative will be available at the Concord Education Center during the following times:

• Wednesday, June 3: 8:00–11:00 AM
• Tuesday, June 9: 12:00–3:00 PM
• Thursday, June 11: 11:00 AM–3:00 PM

We look forward to welcoming new and returning substitutes for the upcoming school year!

Another school year in the books. It’s hard to believe how quickly the days went from first assignments and new routines to final exams and finished projects. Somewhere in between were moments that challenged us, made us laugh, and reminded us how much can happen in a single school year.

Now the tests are over, the long hours were worth it, and it’s time to enjoy a well-earned break. Have a great summer!

Concord’s very first Champions Together Field Day was a huge success! 🎉

Champions Together is a club made up of 60 student leaders who serve and support Life Skills and Special Education students, helping create opportunities for inclusion, teamwork, and connection with those with intellectual disabilities

This event was the perfect opportunity for students to experience unified sports, build friendships, and celebrate teamwork together. From games to laughter to cheering each other on, it was a day to remember for everyone involved.

We are so proud of our students and leaders for making this special event happen and can’t wait to see it grow in the future!

During last night’s school board meeting, students from across the district were recognized for their outstanding creativity, artistic talent, and hard work showcased in this year’s District Art Show.
