This expresses beautifully the sort of dialogue we want to facilitate in our library. Well said, Prof. Leah!

This Advent season, the AMBS library is pleased to welcome a display of nativity sets and other nativity-related items. The nativities, from many countries around the world, were collected by Director of Campus Ministries Janeen Bertsche Johnson. The full collection will be on display through Friday noon, December 8, and part of the collection will stay on display until the beginning of January. They may be viewed during regular library hours, which are posted at https://www.ambs.edu/library/

See a report and recording of our time with Prof. Emerita Mary Schertz. Also, there's info here on how to get a signed copy of her Luke commentary if you missed the celebration.

On Aug. 16, 2023, the AMBS learning community celebrated a monumental achievement by Professor Emerita Mary H. Schertz, PhD: the release of her commentary on the Gospel of Luke. Watch an in-depth interview with Mary!

08/04/2023

Please make plans to come to the AMBS Waltner Hall Lounge on Wednesday, August 16 at 3pm for a special celebration of AMBS Prof. Emerita Mary Schertz’s recently published Luke commentary in the Believers’ Church Bible Commentary series. Mary will be with us to celebrate this great achievement. Following the special break celebration, Prof. Jackie Wyse-Rhodes will be interviewing Mary on the topic of “Our Lives as Scholars” for the Leadership Education in Anabaptist Perspective (LEAP) class. Feel free to stay for this conversation with Jackie, Mary, and the LEAP students. AMBS Library will provide snacks and drinks, and AMBS Bookstore will have copies of the commentary available for sale. This is a key volume for pastors and leaders to have in their personal collections! For more information, please contact Karl Stutzman, Director of Library Services, at [email protected].
