IDOT has posted dates for the I-55 overpass closure. I-55 lane reductions start Monday, April 10th with the bridge being closed April 24th through August 15th.

Beginning in March, the Salvation Army Food Pantry will set up at the Village Parking Lot (across from the Hall)

When: 1st Thursday of the month
When: Noon until 1:00 PM

Elkhart area residents are welcome to pickup pantry and frozen food items. Continuation will be dependent on need.

Logan County 911/EMA Asks Residents To Sign-Up To Receive Local Alerts

Logan County 911/EMA has partnered with Nixle to implement its Community Notification System to alert residents in real-time for localized emergency situations and relevant community advisories.

As a resident, there are several simple ways to register:
1. Text LOGAN911EMA to 888777 from your mobile phone
2. Go to www.logancountyil.gov/etsb or www.logancountyil.gov/ema and sign up via the Nixle icon at the bottom of the page.
Once registered, residents will receive a confirmation text to their mobile device. Residents may also customize their alert settings by going to www.nixle.com and creating a User Profile.

The service is secure, reliable and easy to use for our organization.
All Alerts will be targeted geographically, allowing residents to receive localized, relevant alerts from Logan County 911/EMA. Nixle Alerts can be sent via Text, Email, Voice, Web, Social Media, and the Nixle Mobile App in an instant.

City of Springfield to Sign New Coal Contract, Save Millions
