Big things are happening through the Craftsman with Character Program in 2026! For the second year in a row, students from the Elkhorn Area School District and Delavan-Darien School District came together, creating a partnership that stepped beyond the classroom and into the workplace, gaining hands-on experience with local business partners.
Throughout the semester, they spent four days a week at different area manufacturing and transportation sites and on Fridays participated in a character education program focused on leadership, integrity, communication, and professionalism, putting those skills into action through real-world work-based learning experiences.
