While we are sad to see you go, we are excited to see you take on this new leadership opportunity. Maple Bluff is gaining a dedicated fire service professional and leader.

🚒💦 B Shift Pumping on a Sunday! 💦🚒

A little rain doesn’t stop us from training! 🌧️

Today, B Shift spent time sharpening our pumping and water-supply skills. Crews worked through hydrant operations, flowing multiple handlines, and drafting from a portable water tank—an important skill for incidents in areas where hydrants aren’t available.

Reliable water supply is critical on the fireground, and training in different conditions helps make sure our crews are ready when the call comes in.

Rain or shine, the training continues.

Come out tonight and visit members of the Elkhorn Area Fire Department and City of Delavan Fire Department as we join together for Hero’s Night at Elkhorn Area High School!

❤️ CPR Training at EAFD 🚒

Today, members of the Elkhorn Area Fire Department had the opportunity to provide CPR training to the Elkhorn Department of Public Works (DPW).

CPR education is just one of the many services EAFD is proud to provide to our community and our local partners. Strong teamwork between our first responders, city departments, and community members helps make Elkhorn a safer place to live and work.

According to the American Heart Association (AHA), immediate CPR can double or triple a person’s chance of survival after cardiac arrest. Those first few minutes matter. When a bystander recognizes cardiac arrest, calls 911, begins high-quality CPR, and uses an AED when available, lifesaving care has already started before our crews arrive.

A huge thank you to the Elkhorn DPW for taking the time to train and strengthen their lifesaving skills. When our community knows CPR, we all become part of the response.

Strong departments. Strong teamwork. A stronger community.

🥎 EAFD Takes the Field! 🚒

This weekend, Elkhorn Area Fire Department had the opportunity to compete in the 2026 Professional Fire Fighters of Wisconsin (PFFW) Softball Tournament for our first time!

We may not have come away with the win, but we had an amazing experience competing alongside fellow firefighters from across Wisconsin. There were plenty of laughs, great competition, and memories made along the way.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped put the tournament together and to all the teams that made us feel welcome.

EAFD will definitely be back — and we’re already looking forward to next year! 🥎🚒

Yesterday, we participated in Burn Camp hosted by Professional Fire Fighters of Wisconsin Charitable Foundation, Inc. Off Duty members came in to bring our truck to the parade. We enjoyed the opportunity to provide fire truck rides and interact with everyone in attendance.
