Yesterday, our seventh graders had the absolute best day ever living life in the fast lane! From tearing up the go-kart track to epic laser tag battles, they brought the energy all day long. 💥

We squeezed every ounce of fun out of unlimited bumper cars, bumper boats (yes, some splashing definitely happened!), and some seriously competitive mini-golf. Needless to say, memories were made, and a lot of energy was burned.

On Friday, our German classes hosted a special potluck event called “Ms. G’s Deutsches Diner!”

Students participated in a live-action restaurant experience where they practiced ordering food in German — putting their language skills into action in a fun and interactive way! After ordering, students enjoyed the delicious treats they brought in and had time to socialize together.

It was a wonderful way to bring language and culture to life!

🚨 Join us on Wednesday, June 3rd at 2:10 p.m. as Lakeland School Special Olympics athletes get a special send-off! The Walworth County Sheriff’s Office will es**rt our amazing athletes through Elkhorn on their way to the Olympic Games in Whitewater, WI. The journey starts at Lakeland School, goes down County Road NN, to Wisconsin St., and loops around the square. Don’t miss this inspiring parade!

Let’s show them some love! Step outside, cheer them on, and bring your signs to celebrate our outstanding students and athletes. Help us make this send-off unforgettable! 🏅🙌

Congratulations to Evelynn, Wesley, and Miles for having their replica Nestlé morsel packages selected by Nestlé leadership! We are incredibly proud of these students and ALL of the students who participated in this project this year.

Watching students bring their creativity, innovation, and presentation skills to life through authentic learning opportunities has been incredible. We are so grateful for our partnership with Nestlé and for the way they continue to invest in our students, our school, and our community. What an amazing experience for our students!
