From 1968-1974 was when I was a student there I had a few good teacher and a couple teacher I shall never forgot like miss Ellen Jones mr Dennis yetis excuse me for my spelling and miss green and miss turner mr jerry handsome yrs ago I had a bad temper mr handson work as a counselor long with all teacher help me over come my temper issues and when I was in miss green class I had always still till today think she looked as Cher then along came Dennis yeti he came a yr or so to replace the retiring music teacher who started me with guitar and yeti more and more then yrs later I heard his daughter found him dead I hit me very hard then came along miss turner she was old school and she did her best as that wes was the yr after her class I left and went back to east Troy high school. Now down to the only teacher I ever respected was miss Ellen Jones she taught real life and old school also taught art she was the one who came with the owl saying “don’t pollute give a whoot”. It really came to me when yrs later I had a family and one yr money was tight and I remember Miss Jones my girl to this day thought that was the best so my daughter asked if they can meet this great woman that shown me this so this was yrs later I remember where she told us where it was to retire at I know the area well and found yrs later all the respect came back to me that fast and told miss jones of that Christmas it brought a tear down her face she also told a girl that was a yr older then I came a lot of times to see Miss Jones Marrieria so each ur when my family would go camping we always stopped in the see this wonderful lady about 4 yrs later the last I seen it heard of miss jones was her health had gotten bad and moved to her brothers place then urs later Lakeland school move from the old school to their new school which I still haven’t seen yet but will soon I hope I shall long remember as a student running the halls etc and teacher and some day I love to write a song for Lakeland school for what u meant to me so all I can say now is thank you Lakeland school and teachers and hope one day a student from it past comes to see u as me
