The Bridge Food and Diaper Bank Please donate @ thebridgewalco.org to help us make sure no one goes hungry in Walworth County. As a bank we support 16 Walworth County pantries.

As a pantry, we supply food, diapers, incontinence products, and period supplies to Walworth County residents. With a group of Boy Scouts pulling their wagons, we opened as a food pantry on May 2nd, 2009. At present, as a food pantry, we serve around 500 households every month. As a food and diaper bank, we have a warehouse, supplementing almost a dozen pantries and places throughout Walworth Coun

ty with food and milk, in the collaborative fight to end food insecurity. We are the only diaper bank in Walworth County, offering diapers, period supplies, and incontinence products. With more than 100 volunteers, we are neighbors helping neighbors.

Community Church Kids Are Kicking Off the School Year With Kindness!

The elementary classes at Lakeland Church are starting the school year with a BIG goal — collecting 500 canned goods for The Bridge Food & Diaper Bank!

We absolutely love seeing kids get involved in helping local families. They’re learning compassion, teamwork, and the power of showing up for their community… and they’re having fun doing it.

Every can they collect becomes a meal, a moment of relief, and a reminder that kindness starts young.

There’s a moment every parent knows — when a child’s birthday lights up their whole world. At The Bridge, we work hard to make sure every child gets to feel that joy… but right now, we’re down to our last few Birthday Kits, and we need our community’s help.

These kits mean more than cake and candles. They mean dignity. Celebration. A memory a child will carry forever.

If you, your family, or your group could put together a kit, it would make a world of difference. Each one includes:
• Disposable pan with lid
• Cake mix
• Small 7‑Up or Sprite (so no eggs are needed)
• Frosting
• Birthday candles
• Balloon
• Birthday card

A simple bag of items… that becomes a moment of magic.

National Night Out did NOT disappoint!
We had a steady stream of awesome people stopping by The Bridge tent — chatting, laughing, and trying to crack the code on our diaper‑count challenge.

The stroller held 357 diapers, and someone guessed 356. ONE diaper away! That earned them a $50 Walmart Gift Card and major bragging rights.

Thanks for making it such a fun, community‑filled night!

GARDEN OF WEEDIN’ NEWS

Have you noticed the fresh flowers brightening our space lately? Our Bridge + GoW volunteer, Patrick, has been growing beautiful cutting gardens from seed, keeping the wildflower bed weeded, and even bringing our long‑sleeping compost bin back to life.

And a big thank‑you to all the volunteers who help water and maintain the garden — your care keeps this space thriving and welcoming for everyone who visits.
