Elkin City Schools is searching for a Secondary Spanish World Language Teacher to join Elkin Middle School. The role involves creating engaging lesson plans, adapting instruction to meet student needs, and transitioning Elkin City Schools’ Dual Language Immersion program into the first year of Middle School through a Heritage Spanish I course. Exciting things are happening at Elkin Middle! We are pleased to welcome Mrs. Cameron Garris, Mr. Ben Gentry and Mrs. Sandra Dauber. Mrs. Garris will be stepping into the role of EC Adaptive Curriculum teacher. Mr. Gentry will be our 7th grade ELA teacher. Mrs. Dauber will be teaching World Languages. Also, Mrs. Heather Gilliam Wall will be stepping into the role of our middle school CTE Coordinator! Welcome to the EMS family! We’re excited to have you here!

What an incredible way to wrap up the school year at Elkin Middle School! 🎉 Today we celebrated our students through two award ceremonies and recognized so many accomplishments, achievements, and moments of growth from this school year. We are so proud of each and every student and all they have accomplished this year. 💙💛

As we close out another amazing year, we also celebrate two very special retirements. Thank you, Dr. Jennifer Hall and Misty Ball, for your years of dedication, leadership, love, and commitment to EMS. Your impact on our students, staff, and school family will be felt for years to come. You will both be greatly missed! ❤️

What a memorable night celebrating the amazing 8th grade class at Elkin Middle School! 🎉✨
Huge thank you to the PTA for all of the hard work, planning, organizing, and decorating that made the celebration and dance so special for our students. Your time, creativity, and dedication helped create memories these kids will never forget. 💙💛
From the decorations and food to the fun on the dance floor, everything was wonderful. Thank you to everyone who helped make the night such a success!
