Oh no! Our phones aren't working, so we haven't been able to make or receive calls this morning. This has also impacted our Regional Headquarters in the upper level of our building.

In unrelated news, our library is extra quiet today if you'd like a space to work, study, or read! 📖

We’ve had our Dolly Parton display up at the library to celebrate her incredible life, her legacy, and her love of helping others.

In keeping with Dolly’s generous spirit and her belief in the power of books, we donated all of the Dolly Parton's Imagination Library books we had on hand to the local Pre-K at Elkin Elementary. We couldn’t think of a better way to pass along the gift of reading and imagination.

We hope these books inspire these little ones to dream big, keep learning, and always care for those around them.

As Dolly once said:

“Dream big dreams; learn everything you can learn; and care for all those that care for you. You do all of these things and you can be anyone you want to be.”

Thank you, Dolly, for reminding us that a book can open a door, a dream can become a reality, and a little kindness can make a big difference.
