Today, we recognize and celebrate the incredible mothers who stand behind our volunteers. Your strength, support, and sacrifice do not go unnoticed.

Thank you for lending us your sons, daughters, spouses, and loved ones as they serve our community. Whether they’re responding to calls, attending training, or spending long hours away from home—you make that service possible.

Your encouragement, patience, and pride are part of what makes our department strong. We are truly grateful for all that you do, not just today, but every day.

The members would like to extend a big “thank you” to Girl Scout Troop 9696 for their donation of cookies to the station.

It was a wonderful surprise to find after the crew returned from an emergency service call this evening. 😋🍪

Last week 7 of our members participated in a unique training opportunity facilitated by the state fire academy at our own ATFD training facility.

Scenarios and education to recognize flashover conditions further one of our main operational priorities that “Everyone Goes Home”. Our service to the community can be an extremely dangerous undertaking; preparedness reduces the risks.

Squad 200 and a full crew participated in the ATFD department-wide drill this Wednesday evening. Conducting live-fire evolutions an interfacing with the other companies in our department is extremely beneficial to the development of our members.

A special thank you to the Fire Marshal’s office and officers/members of Station 300 & 100 for their efforts to organize the training session.

Thank you to administration and PTO at Rydal Elementary for hosting this years One School, One Book initiative. McKinley Fire Company had four members join a great group of volunteers to read to the kids and kickstart the program!

Congratulations to Officer Dwyer on concluding an accomplished career in law enforcement in the township. Our members have had the privilege of working alongside him over the course of his tenure to keep our community safe. We wish him the best in his retirement.
