‼️‼️The Middle Fork River in Ellamore has risen to Action Stage, quickly reaching Flood Stage. Anyone living along this area is urged to self evacuate, move to higher ground, flooding is imminent. Randolph County E911 has also received information of flooding on Georgetown Rd in Beverly. DO NOT drive through flood water! Turn around, don't drown! ‼️‼️

‼️‼️ Due to flooding, Rt 219 (The Parsons Rd) has been closed. Also several secondary roads in the Montrose area are impassable due to flooding. Do Not drive through flooded areas! Please stay aware of your surroundings and watch for rising flood waters! ‼️‼️

Randolph County Office of Emergency Management/E911 Center would like to congratulate Deputy Director Rob Daman , Chief of 911 Operations Sadie Mercedes Herron-Cross, and Training Coordinator Amy Johnston Shahan on their acceptance into the National Emergency Manager Advanced Academy starting in January 2027! This is another big step in their careers in Emergency Management, giving them more knowledge and training to successfully respond to and manage emergencies and disasters. 👍👍

‼️‼️ PSA: First Energy/Mon Power has a planned power outage to replace transmission line equipment on Tuesday, July 21, 2026 from 8am to 4pm. The outage will affect approximately 1900 customers in the Mill Creek, Huttonsville, and Valley Bend areas. Affected customers will be notified by First Energy/Mon Power, approximately one week prior to the outage date. If customers have any questions, they may call Mon Power Customer Service at 1-800-686-0022. ‼️‼️

‼️‼️ Due to the severe storms earlier today, several area's throughout the county are experiencing power outages. First Energy/ Mon Power are aware of these outages and are working as quickly as possible to restore power services. Unfortunately due to the amount of damage to poles and lines, restoration may be tomorrow in some areas. If someone has any life critical needs, such as an oxygen concentrator, or any other life critical equipment that requires power, they can contact the Randolph County E911 Center Non Emergency line at 304-636-2000 and dispatch will contact OEM to make arrangements for the individual. If customers have any questions regarding restoration times, they can call Mon Power Customer Service at 1-800-686-0022. And just a reminder, if you encounter any downed power lines or poles, please stay clear! They may still be energized and cause serious injury or death. ‼️‼️
