Dear Elko County Democrats members, friends, and guests,

We are grateful for your interest and participation at our monthly meetings in the past, and our Executive Committee wants to make that even more possible! We are changing to an ALL-ZOOM format for our Elko County Democrats' monthly meetings, starting immediately with our July meeting on Tuesday, 7/15, at 5:30 - 7:00 p.m. We will have the member forum for sharing during the first part and the business meeting afterward, as this has been working well.

We will NO LONGER VE HOLDING IN-PERSON MEETINGS at the TERRACE SENIOR CENTER! They have been gracious hosts, but the ECD Executive Committee wants to make our member meetings more powerful, clear, and easy to access. It will be easier to hear and see each other on an all-Zoom platform than it is with the "hybrid" format. The weather, the geography of this huge county, and the need to keep up with changing times are some additional reasons for this decision.

Of course, we will have in-person events periodically so that we can have fun together and exchange ideas personally! Watch for information about local protest demonstrations, as well.

Lance and a couple of others have offered their homes if you need help logging in or other technical support.

Any questions or comments are welcomed. Meeting information and log-in details will be emailed out soon for the 7/15/2025 ZOOM.

Greetings!

The newly-organized Elko County Democrats group invites you to an opportunity to defend democracy with like-minded folks! "All politics is local" and that is where we are focusing our efforts. We have a brand-new mission statement to share with you!

Come and hear from our team about our new name and action committees. We'd love to see you and hear about your experiences and ideas!

We will meet at the Terraces on Ruby View, 1795 Ruby View Drive, in Elko, on Tuesday, April 15th at 5:30 p.m. This is our new venue for meeting on the third Tuesday of every month at 5:30 p.m.sharp, ending at 7:00. We will be in the Tech Room - straight ahead when you come in the front door.

Zoom access will be available. Delynn Jones, who will cover my Secretarial duties while I am at a family reunion, will send that information out. Please RSVP that "I AM ATTENDING" and whether in-person or on Zoom. Email us if you have questions.
