Join us as we mix a night of workouts and cocktails.

Grab a pool noodle and some water weights (equipment provided) as you join Nichole and Elise for a cardio intensive, full body water aerobics workout. After you've given your all in the water, get dried off and hang around for our "cocktail" hour. There will be wine, drinks and small finger foods, to replenish your bodies.
*Must be 21 to attend event. ID's will be checked at the door, please remember to bring yours.
**Limited space available. Pre-registration encouraged, but walk-ins welcome. $20 per person, $5 discount for early registration.

Come meet the new instructor Nichole Boneafide and join in for an amazing workout.

The Elko Swimming Pool schedule will change on Monday, August 28th to the pictured times.
We will be closed September 2-4 for the Labor Day weekend and November 23-26 for Thanksgiving.
Private pool rentals are on Friday's from 2-3pm and based on staffing and lifeguard availability (requires 2-week advanced notice)

There is still time to register for the upcoming Water Polo Clinic that the Elko Swim Team is putting on this coming weekend! Participants do not need to be able to swim to attend, open to ages 6+. Follow the links on the poster for more information. There will be only one session of open swim on Saturday, August 5th from 12:30pm-2:30pm. Water Polo starts at 2pm on Saturday!

Mosquito Spraying

The City of Elko Parks Department is planning its annual areal application for the abatement of mosquitoes in early July on Saturday morning (July 1, 2023). As the insecticides to be applied are toxic to bees, we encourage any beekeepers in the area to take necessary precautions.
Areas to be treated include the Humboldt River Corridor, Elko City Cemetery, Ruby View Golf Course, City Parks, The Elko Regional Airport, and the Water Treatment Facility. We also encourage everyone in the area to assist with mosquito abatement efforts by emptying any stagnant water from tires, boats, buckets, etc. as these areas are the perfect breeding ground for these pests.

Unfortunately we are experience a software outage and unable to process any credit cards, today. If attending open swim this afternoon please bring cash.
This outage us also affecting our online platform and preventing any activity registrations or park reservations. Sportsman is working on the situation and hope to have it resolved soon.

The Elko Swimming Pool will begin taking sign-ups for the 2023 Lifeguarding class on April 8th. Must be at least 15 years old by May 7, 2023 to attend.
Sign-up in person at the swimming pool with a $25 cash deposit.
All interested parties must attend one of the pre-course dates and pass to qualify for the full class.
*Option to apply for a lifeguarding position at the swimming pool, after passing the class.*

We're having some heating issue with the indoor pool and will have to close until the parts come in on Tuesday. We are currently working on the issue and hope to have everything heating up properly real soon.
Looking for something fun to do instead, there is bingo at the fairgrounds tonight. Family friendly event, with fun prizes and silent auction. Proceeds are to benefit CADV. Go check it out and help support a great organization. :)
