Last evening, the County Executive and County Council recognized October 2026 as Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Every October, there is an explosion of PINK as the nation and the international community work together to increase awareness, remind everyone of the value of education and early detection, and honor those affected by breast cancer.

The Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT) will hold the annual Cecil County Consolidated Transportation Plan Meeting on Wednesday, October 7 at 10:00 AM in the Elk Room at the Cecil County Administrative Building.

The meeting provides an opportunity to review and provide input on Maryland’s draft six-year capital transportation program.
