Here’s a great opportunity to join in this community celebration.

🙌 Volunteers Needed for Elkton Juneteenth 2026!

Juneteenth happens because community shows up — and we would love for you to be part of it.

We are looking for volunteers to help support the 2026 Elkton Juneteenth events, especially the Community Celebration on Friday, June 19. Volunteers are needed to help with:

✅ Greeting and welcoming guests
✅ Setup and cleanup
✅ Hospitality
✅ Vendor and community resource areas
✅ Heritage Pavilion / Roots of Resilience Exhibit support
✅ Kids’ activities
✅ General event assistance

You do not have to serve all day — even one shift makes a difference.

This is a wonderful opportunity to serve, celebrate freedom, support local history, and help create a welcoming experience for our community.

The Maryland State Board of Elections has officially begun mailing out primary ballots for the June 23rd election. If you have already requested a mail-in ballot, you should expect it to arrive in your mailbox within the next 4days.

If you haven’t requested your mail-in ballot yet, the deadline to request a mail-in ballot is June 16th, and you can do so at https://voterservices.elections.maryland.gov/onlinemailinrequest/InstructionsStep1
