Situated in the heart of the mid-Atlantic region, Cecil County is located strategically between Baltimore and Philadelphia. With convenient access to international airports, major seaports and the Interstate 95/ U.S. 40 corridor, Cecil County is at the heart of the technology corridor.Industry leaders, W. spaces, wet lab spaces, Class A office spaces and sites for new industry. Access to major regional workforces and comprehensive local business resources make relocation to Cecil County ideal. Fast-Track Permitting, State Enterprise Zones and access to a Revolving Loan Fund are just some of the incentives Cecil County offers.Aside from its business ready climate, Cecil County retains its agricultural lands and open spaces. About 70% of the County is rural. Farms and open spaces for hiking, biking and equestrians have made Cecil County a treasure along the Chesapeake.
