Ellendale Ambulance

Ellendale Ambulance Welcome to the official page of the Ellendale Ambulance. We have two ambulance units; one is stationed in Ellendale and the other one is in Geneva.

Ellendale Ambulance Service's crew consists of 8 local community volunteer Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT) who are certified, highly skilled, and trained to provide our fellow community members the best pre-hospital patient care possible. We operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year serving the cities of Ellendale and Geneva, Steele County townships: Berlin, Summit, and part o

f Lemond, and Freeborn County Townships: Geneva and Bath. Each ambulance is equipped with everything needed to handle any emergency. We carry medicines for all types of calls, including epinephrine for allergic reactions, albuterol for respiratory illnesses, glucagon for diabetic shock, and nitro for cardiac problems. Each ambulance is also equipped with an AED for cardiac arrest emergencies. If you or someone you know are interested in volunteering and becoming a member of the Ellendale Ambulance crew, please contact us.

On May 12th, a couple of our crew members had the opportunity to speak to some of the community about using an AED! We brought in some practice equipment for them to use to gain some muscle memory of placing pads on a person if the need should ever arise! Thank you to the Community Foundation of Ellendale for having us!
