We are so excited to announce a new home for Senior Nutrition in Cle Elum!

FISH Senior Nutrition lunches at the Upper Kittitas County Senior Center will conclude on August 31.

After a short break, lunches will resume on Tuesday, September 8 at:

Dru Bru
1015 E. 2nd Street, Cle Elum
Tuesday–Thursday | 11:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.

We are incredibly grateful to Dru Bru for welcoming FISH Senior Nutrition and making space for our Upper County seniors. Their generosity allows this important program to continue in Cle Elum, giving local seniors a place to enjoy a fresh, scratch-made meal and time together.

A huge thank you to the Dru Bru team for stepping up for our community!

Meals are free for adults 60+, with a suggested donation welcomed but never required. New participants can register on site and enjoy lunch the same day.

Please help us spread the word about our new Cle Elum home!

FISH Fourth of July Holiday Schedule

Please note the following schedule for the Independence Day holiday:

Food Pantry & Open Table
• Open regular hours Monday-Thursday
• Closed Friday, July 3 (Independence Day observed)

Roslyn Mobile Pantry
• Thursday distribution will take place as scheduled.

Picnic in the Park Summer Meals
• Meal packs will be available Monday through Friday, including Friday, July 3.
• There will be no Saturday meal pickup on July 4.
• Families who normally pick up meals on Saturday can email [email protected] to arrange pickup at a different location this week.

FISH Community Food Bank will be helping enroll eligible seniors in the Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP) again this season! Join us Saturday, June 6th at Ellensburg Farmers Market.

This program helps lower-income older adults purchase locally grown fruits, vegetables, herbs, and honey at participating farmers markets and farm stands throughout Washington.

Eligible participants may qualify if they are:
• Washington residents age 60+
• Native American or Alaska Native residents age 55+
• Within income guidelines (185% of the federal poverty level)

The market season runs June 1 through October 31.

Benefits are loaded onto a card that can be used directly with participating vendors. Vendors simply scan the card and participants enter a PIN to complete purchases.

Participants must apply each year to receive benefits.

Interested in applying through FISH? Find us at the Ellensburg Farmers Market this coming Saturday or contact [email protected] for more information.
