An annual sign-up for financial assistance for farmers and ranchers working to improve water use efficiency, drought resiliency, and fish habitat is underway now through January 15, 2026. Applications are available at the KCCD office (2211 W Dolarway Road, Suite 4, Ellensburg).
This funding is made possible by the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service's (NRCS) Regional Conservation Partnership Program (RCPP). We secured these funds through national competitive solicitations in 2021 and 2023 for two 5 year projects. For more information visit https://www.kccd.net/announcements.

As we saw yesterday with the Red Bridge Road fire, wildland fires can move quickly leaving you little time to decide what to grab or do. Make a plan so that you can take action immediately if needed!

This guide was mailed out last summer to all addresses in the wildland urban interface of Kittitas County. We do have lots of copies left. Let us know if you'd like some for your neighborhood!
