Women veterans and community members are invited to attend a special Women Veteran Day celebration hosted by Chuck Austin Place and the Yakima Housing Authority.

The WDVA Veteran Counseling Program is hosting a powerful no-cost virtual workshop focused on understanding and reducing trauma-based nightmares connected to PTSD recovery.

🧠 Nightmare Therapy: Recognizing and Addressing a Missing “Peace” Toward PTSD Recovery
Presented by Dr. Lori R. Daniels, Ph.D., LCSW

This workshop will provide practical techniques and tools aimed at reducing the frequency and intensity of trauma-based nightmares while supporting healing and recovery.

Did you know Kittitas County Public Health Department has Veteran Service Officers (VSOs) available to support veterans and their families?

The Kittitas County Veterans Services Program is here to help veterans, dependents, and survivors navigate VA claims, appeals, referrals, state benefits, and other important support services.

📍 Veteran Service Officers can assist with:
• VA claims and appeals support
• Referrals and access to services
• State and local veteran resources
• Assistance vouchers for qualifying veterans needing fuel or food support
