It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our brother, Lee Williamson.
Lee was more than a firefighter—he was a trusted friend, and a valued member of our fire department family. His commitment to protecting others, his selfless service, and his unwavering willingness to answer the call will never be forgotten.

Our thoughts and heartfelt prayers are with Lee's family, friends, and everyone whose lives he touched during this difficult time. We are forever grateful for his service, his sacrifice, and the legacy he leaves behind.
Rest easy, Brother. We have the watch from here.

Today we celebrate an incredible milestone - 50 years of dedication, service, and commitment to the Ellerbe Rescue Squad and Richmond County! 💛

For five decades, you’ve answered the call, shown up when it mattered most, and made a lasting difference in this community. Your time and sacrifice have not gone unnoticed. These pictures show him in action on some of the many, many calls he has answered.

Thank you for the lives you’ve touched, the example you’ve set, and the legacy you continue to build. Here’s to 50 amazing years and the impact that will carry on for generations to come.
