One of our staff members will be teaching a NYS Department of Environmental Conservation hunter education class on Saturday, April 18th at the Limestone Sportsman's Club in Limestone, NY. This is a FREE, mandated safety class offering hands-on training for those 11+ years of age looking to purchase their hunting license.

Student must be at least 11 years of age to attend the Hunter Education Course, unless he/she will, within the next year, hunt in a state that allows hunting under the age of 12 years. Check with the instructor as some restrictions will apply.

Cattaraugus County Soil & Water Conservation District is seeking qualified candidates to fill our Conservation District Environmental Specialist Position! The ideal candidate is one with knowledge of current state and federal environmental regulations, prior environmental permitting experience, wetland delineation, and/or environmental site review.
