The Ellicottville Police Department reports the arrest of Gregory E. Summers, 31, Martinsburg West Virginia, for Obstruction of Governmental Administration 2nd, Resisting Arrest, and Disorderly Conduct- Fight/Violent Behavior, after a multipy person fight in the Village of Ellicottville. Summers was processed and released on appearance tickets. Summers will appear in the Town of Ellicottville Court, at a later date, to answer the charges.

The Ellicottville Police Department reports the arrest of Shannon N. Sischo, 49, Salamanca NY, for Grand Larceny 3rd following an investigation into incidents spanning from 2023 to present time. Sischo was processed and released on an appearance ticket. Sischo will appear in the Town of Ellicottville Court to answer to the charge.

The Ellicottville Police Department reports the arrest of Darius L. Franklin, 29, No Known Address for Trespass after an incident in the Town of Ellicottville. Franklin was released with an appearance ticket. Franklin will appear in the Town of Ellicottville court at a later date to answer the charge.

The Ellicottville Police Department reports the arrest of Patrick M. Jackson, 42, Glenwood NY, for Unlawfully Fleeing a Police Officer 3rd, Reckless Driving, Driving While Intoxicated, Criminal Mischief 3rd, and several other traffic offenses following an incident in the Town of Ellicottville. Jackson drove through several lawns in the Town of Ellicottville while leading officers on a pursuit. The Ellicottville Police Department was assisted in the apprehension of Jackson by the Cattaraugus County Sheriff's Office and the New York State Police. Jackson was processed and released on appearance tickets. Jackson will appear in the Town of Ellicottville Court at a later date.

The Ellicottville Police Department reports the arrest of Michael C. Lathrop, 35, Olean NY, on a bench warrant issued from the Town of Ellicottville Court for failing to appear for a previous charge of Petit Larceny. Lathrop was arraigned in the Town of Ellicottville Court and released under supervision. The Olean City Police Department assisted in the arrest.

The Ellicottville Police Department reports the arrest of Matthew W. Wolcott, 35, Cheektowaga NY, for Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd, Failure to safely store a firearm 1st, and other vehicle and traffic violations following an incident in the Town of Ellicottville . Wolcott will appear in the Town of Ellicottville Court at a later date, to answer to the charges.

Congratulations to officers Graham and Rowland , two of our officers who recently attended Police Bike Patrol School. There will now be officers patrolling the streets on bicycles periodically.
