⚡𝙃𝙤𝙬’𝙨 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙧𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙨𝙪𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙥𝙤𝙬𝙚𝙧?

As Fire Prevention Week comes to an end, we have one last question…

How many of these safe charging habits are already part of your routine? 👀
📱 Charge on a hard, flat surface.
🔌 Use the correct charger.
🔋 Unplug once fully charged.
⚠️ Know the warning signs of a problem battery.
🌳 Charge larger batteries outside when appropriate.

Hi everyone!

Given tomorrow’s weather forecast, we wanted to share an important update about the Georgia Apple Festival & Apple Arts Festival:

After closely monitoring the forecast and the latest information from the National Weather Service, the Georgia Apple Festival and Apple Arts Festival in Downtown Ellijay have been canceled for Saturday, October 10th.

Everyone’s safety is our top priority, and we truly appreciate your patience and understanding.

Both festivals are still scheduled for Sunday, October 11th! The Georgia Apple Festival will be open from 9 AM to 5 PM, and the Apple Arts Festival from 10 AM to 6:30 PM.

For the latest weather updates and additional festival details, please follow the official festival pages: Georgia Apple Festival and Apple Arts Festival .

Ticket information for the Georgia Apple Festival is available at Georgia Apple Festival.

Thank you! We hope everyone stays safe this weekend, and we look forward to welcoming you to Ellijay on Sunday!🍎

We are still watching the weather and making sure the chainsaws are ready just in case.

Are you doing any special storm prepping?

Confidence is increasing in significant rainfall through at least Sunday morning. Narrow bands of training heavy rain/thunderstorms could result in sharp rainfall gradients from as little as 1-2" to as much as 5-8" over just a few miles.

🔌 𝟭𝟬𝟬%? 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘂𝗻𝗽𝗹𝘂𝗴!

We’re all guilty of leaving something plugged in a little longer than necessary. 👀

Once your device is fully charged, unplug it... simple as that! Also avoid charging devices overnight while you’re sleeping.
⚡ Charge it.
✅ Unplug it.
😴 Then call it a night.
One small habit can make a difference.
