Hello Friends!
As many of you know, last September we purchased Heartland Feed from Patty Pogue. Patty, her husband, and her sons owned and operated Heartland Feed for 26 years. They built a great business that we are proud to now own and operate. We would like to thank Patty and Larry Jr. for all their guidance and support before, during and now after the business changed hands. In the midst of working out the details of the sale of Heartland Feed, Patty’s son David tragically passed away. David was a friend of ours, a big help to us personally over the years and we greatly miss him.
We continue to pray for Patty and Larry Jr. We understand this kind of loss, it is a burden to bear to say the least.

It has been a pleasure to work with the Pogue Family through the process of buying this business.

We now operate this business under the name GW Farm Supply LLC here at 84 Hwy Y Ellington, MO.

We would like to thank our employees that do a tremendous job. Courtney Bequette, Kimi Strickland, Lincoln Shope, Abby Bass, Gavin Warren, Grace Lloyd, Sadie Lloyd, Samuel Lloyd and Jack Lloyd. Thank you all for your hard work and dedication to our customers.

And we certainly want to thank all of our customers, past and present and future, for your business and support and we look forward to serving you and working with you for many years to come. We have really enjoyed getting to know you and have learned a lot from you.

We named the store after our late son and brother, Grant Wesley Lloyd, who we lost in a car accident on December 14, 2024. He was an exceptional guy who loved this rural way of life. From hunting and fishing to working in the woods and the field. He was up for any challenge and went through life with a smile on his face. He was a hard worker and a kind and helpful man. He would have loved this business. So we will continue on in his memory. That is all we know to do.

We are 5th and 6th generation livestock producers and farmers here in Reynolds County. We love this part of the world and the people who live here.
