Guitar Virtuoso Concert in Ellington! Ellington Farman Library is pleased to announce the upcoming “Gladius” concert, to be held Tuesday June 2 at 6pm in the Ellington Town Park. Raised in Atlanta, Georgia, pupiled by Andrés Segovia’s protégé, and driven to obsession by Eddie Van Halen—Gladius is an award-winning composer and "accomplished classical/flamenco style guitarist" who soulfully “shreds on the electric" (Phil Keaggy). He has shared the bill with Grammy winners and mesmerized audiences nationwide with his electrifying live act since 2016. With roots tracing back to South America, Gladius began his musical journey at age 10 with an antique Argentine guitar. Thousand of shows later... Gwinnett County Georgia's 1st ever Gwinnett Superstar (awarded in 2022), shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon. What’s his sound? Like Carlos Santana meets Eddie Van Halen in a Mexican Standoff! Plan to be at the Ellington Town Park, located in the center of Ellington, NY by 6pm with your lawn chairs.
