Feeling a little creative? Maybe just want to add your touch to our library Holiday Village Craft Display time? Stop in today, Monday Oct. 26 from 11am - 1pm and help us get in the holiday crafting mood by working on our wooden village display. The supplies were all donated from some generous folks. You can paint houses or decorate some trees with beads & stars to add to the village buildings. You're welcome to bring some snacks, Emily will put on the coffee/tea for you and we'll be ready for some crafting time!

Here's the poster you can share for the Ellington Annual Trunk 'n Treat. Last year the weather was stormy and windy but folks showed up anyway! This community is very generous, especially when it involves serving children. Contact the Town Hall 716-287-2026 if you would like to set up a trunk or make donations. The library is still looking for c***r & cookie donations. Kids love Oreos and Chips Ahoy if you don't have time to bake. Just drop them off at the library during open hours. Other organizations and businesses are having hot dogs, macaroni & cheese and there will be music too! Sounds like it's shaping up to be a great party for everyone! Thanks to Kate Conti for pulling this together.

Hey folks- the online software our library system uses is currently experiencing problems as is the library system catalog. We (actually the library system) are working on it. We apologize for the inconvenience. We can check out books here for our patrons the old fashioned way, by writing it down. When the system is up and running again we'll check the book out to you.

It's tomorrow, October 20 from 4-6pm! We’re looking for some folks who would like to help us make a wooden holiday village! We have the houses already glued up, we have all the adornments you can pick from our huge selection, we have hot glue, sprinkles, paint and more! In other words, we can supply everything for you to make these wooden houses really cute and festive. The plan is to display the village either in our front windows or in the display case, (or anywhere we think it might look good! )Come gather at the library on any or all of the days we have scheduled. We’ll try to put out some refreshments because it’s more fun to eat and create and it’s even more fun to do it with a friend. We welcome everyone over the age of 12. We have a separate craft for younger children scheduled for another time.
