August 31, 2026 is the deadline to submit a letter of interest and resume if interested in filling the Region II vacant seat on the School Board. A letter of interest and resume can be submitted to Board Secretary, Cory Hoffman, at [email protected].

*Please note: The September 8, 2026 Committee of the Whole meeting has a revised start time of 6:00pm to accommodate interviews of the prospective candidates.

Dear West Perry Community,

After consultation with the district administration and the solicitor, Mrs. Robbyn Metz, Board President, has decided that resigning from the School Board is in the best interest of the District. Her resignation will appear on the agenda of the August 17th, 2026, Board Meeting.

This will create an open seat representing Region II (Carroll Township, Landisburg Borough, and Spring Township). By law, the seat must be filled within 30 days of the Board's acceptance of the resignation. Anyone residing in Region II interested in being appointed to complete the remainder of the term should submit a letter of interest and resume to Board Secretary Cory Hoffman at [email protected].
