IT'S GAME DAY! Our Railroader football team is kicking off the season at home against the Hoxie Indians. The game starts at 7:00 PM. The EHS/EJH Band will be performing, and we look forward to an outstanding performance by the EHS and P*e Wee cheerleaders at halftime.

What an awesome start on the 2026 season for our XC Ellis Railers team. 15 of the 17 athletes metaled. The Railers won three of the five races! Taryn Boydston, Shayden Boydston, Elijah Albin placed 1st. Cam Honas placed 3rd, Ian Dobson placed 4th, Sawyer Johns placed 8th, Mason Murphy placed 9th, David Bencze placed 11th, and Teddy Meagher placed 12th in the 7th grade division. Judah Albin placed 3rd in the 8th grade division. Chevelle Morton placed 3rd in the JV division. Cayson Boydston placed 3rd, Braidyn Cox placed 7th in Boys' Varsity division. Railer Pride!!

Ellis Jr./Sr. High School is hosting a cross-country meet tomorrow (Thursday, September 3, 2026) at the Ellis Country Club! The event begins at 10:00 AM with Varsity Girls, followed by Varsity Boys at 10:45 AM, JV at 11:20 AM, 7th Grade at 12:05 PM, and 8th Grade at 12:20 PM. Please note that these times are approximate.

SALAD DAYS ARE HERE!

We’re excited to offer fresh, delicious salads prepared right here in our kitchen as a reimbursable meal option for our high school students every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday!

Salad Schedule:

Monday: Chef Salad
Wednesday: Fried Chicken Salad
Friday: Grilled Chicken Salad

Students must sign up the day before to reserve their salad.

Starting next week, we’re opening this option up to our Jr. High students, too!

Please remember: The salad is their meal — students choosing the salad will not receive a second meal.

We’re excited to give our students another fresh and delicious choice at lunchtime!
