Today we’re celebrating the life of Larry Cox. A great man, husband, dad, grandpa, friend, and a retired Ellis volunteer firefighter that served the community 24 years. As Larry himself once said, “Thank you for the memories brothers of the big red truck.” Rest in piece brother 😔

The Ellis Fire Department is trying something different for the singles horseshoe tournament tonight at the Ellis Jr Free Fair. We’re going to run an A and B bracket based on the player's skill level. Hopefully this will bring in a few extra players. Hope to see you there! 😊 We may try something different on Friday for the doubles tournament as well to help even out the teams. Any feedback would be helpful.
