🎒 Welcome Back, Students! 📚

The Ellisville Police Department is excited to welcome students, teachers, and staff back to Ridge Elementary and Ellisville Elementary! 🏫🍎

As the new school year begins, our officers will be present at our schools and actively patrolling the areas around them to help promote a safe and welcoming environment for our students and staff.

You may see our officers:
👮‍♀️ Greeting students and families during arrival and dismissal
🚔 Conducting extra patrols around our schools and surrounding neighborhoods
🏫 Checking in with school staff and assisting with safety concerns
🤝 Building positive relationships with our students and school communities

Our goal is not only to keep our schools safe, but also to ensure our officers are familiar and friendly faces that students can recognize and feel comfortable approaching.

To our students: Have a wonderful school year! Be kind, work hard, look out for one another, and make it a great year!

For a quarter of a century, Lt. Diehl has served the citizens of Ellisville with professionalism, commitment, and dedication. His years of service represent countless hours spent protecting our community, supporting fellow officers, and making a difference in the lives of those he serves.

We have seen too many lives lost to fentanyl. Don’t do it, not even once.

🙄 We are aware of an individual that has spoofed our phone number and is calling residents. This individual claims to be with the Ellisville Police Department and is telling people that they have a warrant with us. We will never call you about a warrant. We will never call to collect fines or fees over the phone. This is a common scare tactic to try to scam people out of money. Don’t be a victim!

The 2026 Missouri EMS Association Paramedic of the Year and Ellisville Reserve Officer— Shawn Karl. Karl has been with Ellisville for over five years. He volunteers his time for the safety of our community. We couldn’t be more proud to him. He is the true definition of Excellence Pride and Dedication. Congratulations Officer Karl.

Maple Lane is temporarily closed while we assist Metro West Fire Protection District, St. Louis County Missouri with a gas main that was struck.

We are currently assisting Metro West Fire Protection District, St. Louis County Missouri with an unoccupied structure fire in the 15600 block of Manchester Road. There are no reported injuries and the fire has been contained. There is no disruption to traffic at this time.

The days of standing on a static line firing at stationary targets are well behind us. Modern police training has evolved to include environmental factors, lighting, target recognition, and movement.
