Named after Phyllis Mitra who passed away July 7, 2008 — The Phyllis Phund is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping families with children diagnosed with Down syndrome. All monies raised will go toward enriching the lives of kids and families living with Down syndrome through experimental research, community programs and local interaction.

Family, Thank you for your help . 19 more states left. Do you know anyone in the breast cancer & Down syndrome community please share with them. More info below . Mainly looking for states that I don’t have anyone .

If I have someone for your state you can still submit as well . + some states have more than one city even if you see one listed .

For Breast Cancer: I will be looking for those who are currently battling breast cancer, survivors of breast cancer & those who sadly loss a love one to it . I will mow your yard, then do a short interview with you. You can share your story, when you were first diagnosed, the importance of early detection & whatever else you like . The goal is to bring more awarenessOR we can mow a strip of lawn together which symbolizes one day finding a cure for Breast cancer.

For Down syndrome: I’m looking for families who have a kid or even an adult in their family with Down Syndrome. I will mow your a lawn , then do an interview to spread more awareness about DS. Or mow a strip together then an interview .

I’m looking for at least one person from either cause for each state .
