ECHS JAG students partnered with Ozark Federal Credit Union to put on a “Balanced Life” financial simulation for the entire High School student body! It was a great way to wrap up Career Day at ECHS! East Carter County School District

Huge thank you to Ranken Tech for coming to visit with the ECHS JAG students today. Our students learned about Ranken’s programs in the areas of automotive, electrical, construction, IT, and manufacturing. It was great for our students to see there are some awesome opportunities to learn and master a trade after high school.

ECHS JAG had a great opportunity today to visit the National Park Service Headquarters in Van Buren, MO. Students learned about the different positions that the Park Service offers and the importance of the jobs, and were given detailed info on how to apply and navigate USAJOBS.

EC JAG had the amazing opportunity today to learn about many jobs and opportunities Alberici has to offer. Alberici was kind enough to let the students try out some of their equipment, and even got to test their welding skills. Awesome seeing students take interest in different trades, as they seek different options for after High School. Thank you Eminence High School for letting us join you today!

And of course we had to make a pit stop and enjoy our lunch at Alley Springs!

ECHS JAG students got to experience hands-on money management at the “Bite of Reality” Fair today. The event simulated real life financial situations and empowered students with the skills they need to succeed financially now and in the future. Great event!

Thank you Missouri Highlands Health Care for coming to speak to the ECHS JAG students! Our students had the opportunity to hear about the NIMAA(National Institute for Medical Assistant Advancement) general program, and learn a little more about careers in the medical field.
