🚧 Road Closure 🚧

From June 8-19 or until work completion, Ellsworth St. will be closed to all traffic from the intersections of Spaatz Dr. to Lemay Blvd.

Divert all Ellsworth St. traffic to George St. or Eaker Dr.

Traffic entering/exiting the Bismark Gate (commercial gate) and utilizing the contractor haul route on Twining St. will remain unimpacted.

🚨EXERCISE, EXERCISE, EXERCISE🚨

The base will conduct an exercise intended to evaluate the ability of the 28th Bomb Wing to respond to an emergency situation on the installation.

During the exercise, residents on or near the installation may hear announcements over the base’s “giant voice” system, loud noises, and sirens, along with responding vehicles and aircraft. All assigned personnel, family members and visitors may be required to take appropriate action during the exercise.

No traffic delays are anticipated.

⚠️Road Closure⚠️

From May 19-29 or until work completion, Ellsworth St will be closed to all traffic between the intersections of Twining St to Spaatz Dr, including Davis Dr west of the Liberty Gate.

Traffic entering the Liberty Gate (main gate) will be detoured to Schriever St. Please utilize the Patriot Gate (school gate) during this time.

Traffic entering/exiting the Bismark Gate (commercial gate) and utilizing the contractor haul route on Twining St will remain unimpacted.

Flying drones near or over Ellsworth Air Force Base is strictly PROHIBITED.🚫

If you see a drone above or near EAFB, immediately contact the Base Defense Operations Center (605-385-4001) and report the drone’s location.

🚗 Please note: The detour routes along Melody Lane and Drew Drive will be narrow please use caution and expect slower traffic.

The Box Elder Road and Ellsworth Road intersection will be closed Wednesday, April 1st, to Wednesday, April 8th, for construction.
