South Dakota Air and Space Museum

South Dakota Air and Space Museum The South Dakota Air and Space Museum preserves and presents the hisotry, honor, and heritage of the U.S. The museum was approved by the Secretary of the U.S.

Air Force, Ellsworth Air Force Base, and South Dakota aviation through exhbitits and educational programs for the general public and Ellsworth Air Force Base personnel. Air Force on Aug. 26, 1981. The museum is housed in 25,000 sq. ft. Alert Hangers and includes extensive outdoor aircraft and missile displays. (Air Park).

Join us tomorrow Friday March 13 for a special story time with the Holbrook Library. We will have a special story at the museum at 11 am.

The South Dakota Air and Space Museum is closed until March 25, 2026. There will be updates when we open.
The Air Park located in front of the museum is open 8 am to 4 pm 7 days a week. Please be careful if there is snow on the ground.
We would like to thank everyone that came and saw us in 2025.
