A few thunderstorms are possible this afternoon for areas along and east of I-135. The active weather pattern will continue into next week with additional thunderstorm chances.

Severe storms are possible this afternoon and evening, especially for areas along and east of I-135. The strongest storms will be capable of hail up to tennis ball size, wind gusts up to 70 mph, a tornado or two, and heavy rainfall.

Strong to severe storms continue across the area this evening. This activity will gradually push off to the northeast over the next several hours. The strongest storms will be capable of producing half dollar size hail and wind gusts to 70 mph. Locally heavy rain leading to flooding will also be a concern.
