🌿 Community Reminder: Lawn Maintenance 🌿

As the weather warms up and our lawns start to grow, let's keep our neighborhood looking neat and welcoming. 🌱 If your grass is longer than 6 inches, it's time to give it a trim! Regular mowing helps maintain a beautiful, healthy lawn and keeps our community looking great. 🏡

Here are a few tips for lawn care:

Regular Mowing: Aim to mow your lawn once a week during the growing season.

Proper Height: Keep your grass at the recommended height for your type of grass, but remember to mow when it exceeds 6 inches. The recommended height is about 3 inches for deeper roots and more drought-resistant.

Thank you for helping to keep our community beautiful! If you need any assistance, there are multiple lawn care services in our area, and I'm sure if you reach out on social media, there may even be a few teenage kids looking for some extra cash!

A small piece of Ellsworth history has found a new home.

When the former Ellsworth Junior High building was demolished, the Village asked the demolition company to carefully save several decorative concrete pieces from the building’s west entrances (you might recognize them!). Since then, these historic architectural elements have been in storage, waiting for the right opportunity.

Now, as development on the site nears completion, we asked the developer (thank you, C&E Wurzer Builders!) to incorporate them into the landscaping as a nod to the property’s history.

A small way to preserve a connection to the past while welcoming the future of this site.
