You can now filter AI out of Libby!

Libby is the library reading app that allows you to borrow ebooks, audiobooks, magazines, and more with your MORE library card. Libby has just launched controls that allow you to filter out known AI content.

Here’s how you do that:
Log in to Libby.
At the bottom of the screen, click the circle for your account.
Click Settings.
Click Content Controls.
Click AI Contributions.
Decide what kind of text, audio, graphics, and/or translation. If you want to exclude AI content, choose Human Only.
On that same screen, turn off: Where to apply filters>Deep search only

Congratulations! You’ve done it. Feel free to contact the library for assistance with Libby.

Bring a sample of your private well water for nitrate screening, Wednesday, October 21 from 2-5:30. More info below!

We will be at the Ellsworth Public Library from 2pm to 5:30pm on Wednesday, October 21st for free private well water nitrate screenings with Pierce County Land Conservation ! Bring in ~8 oz. of water in a closed container (preferably glass) collected within 24 hours of the event. It is important to run the tap for 5 minutes (on cold at full flow) before collecting the sample.
