Crispy Cheddar Chicken Tenders
Ingredients:
- 1 lb chicken tenders
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooking spray
Directions:
1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a shallow dish, mix together the breadcrumbs, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
3. Place the flour in another shallow dish and season with salt and pepper.
4. Dip each chicken tender into the flour, shaking off any excess.
5. Dip the chicken tender into the beaten eggs, then coat evenly with the breadcrumb and cheese mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
6. Place the coated chicken tenders onto the prepared baking sheet.
7. Spray the tops of the chicken tenders lightly with cooking spray.
8. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the coating is golden and crispy.
9. Serve the chicken tenders hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
