The CVSO office recently received a generous furniture donation, and we would love to pass it along to a veteran or veteran family in need.

Available items include:
• Two mission-style loveseats
• Chair with ottoman
• China hutch

🎄✨ Today the Pierce County Veteran Service Office officially kicked off our holiday deliveries to veterans and surviving spouses in assisted-living and nursing home facilities in Pierce County, as well as our homebound veterans.

We have 140 deliveries to make before Christmas, packed with holiday cheer, sweet treats, and lots of smiles—let the fun begin! 🎁🍪

A special thank you to Connie Halverson for helping bake over 900 homemade cookies to make these deliveries extra special. Your generosity truly helps spread the spirit of the season. ❤️

Thank you Troy and Carol Singletary who helped us spread holiday cheer to our veterans and surviving spouses today. We made 92 deliveries in River Falls, and the surprised faces, smiles, and hugs were enough to warm even the Grinch’s heart.

And the fun has only just begun! Next week we’ll be delivering to Ellsworth, Prescott, Plum City, Spring Valley, and Elmwood. Cookie baking and boxing continues this weekend as we gear up for another 50 deliveries.

It’s an honor to serve those who served. 🇺🇸🎄

Today, we pause to honor the men and women who have worn our nation’s uniform — those who stood ready to protect our freedoms, serve our communities, and uphold the values that define us.

As we reflect on their courage and sacrifice, let us also remember that service does not end when the uniform comes off. Veterans continue to strengthen our towns and counties every day — as neighbors, mentors, and leaders.

To all who have served and their families: thank you. Your dedication inspires us, and your sacrifices will never be forgotten.

We could not have asked for a better day for our 14th Annual Veteran Services Golf Tournament. The weather was perfect, the course was in pristine condition, and the golf course staff went above and beyond. Add to that an incredible list of sponsors and supporters, the best group of volunteers anyone could ask for—ready to do whatever it took to make this year’s event the best yet—and of course, every single person who registered and played. Together, you made it unforgettable.

Because of your generosity, this year’s tournament raised more than $32,000, all of which goes directly to our Emergency Relief Fund to help local veterans and their families in times of need.

We are beyond grateful for every sponsor, supporter, volunteer, and participant. We truly could not do this without you.

Looks like Mother Nature got the memo—the weather will be perfect tomorrow for our 14th Annual Tournament! We can’t wait to see everyone out on the course doing what you do best: supporting those who served.

Registration starts at 9 AM with a 10 AM shotgun start. This year we’ve added even more fun—extra raffles, Philly cheesesteak brats courtesy of Family Fresh Market in River Falls, on course samples from Half Fast Bewery, Texas Roadhouse with rolls and cinnamon butter and of course, the amazing aroma of chicken grilling for dinner while you’re out on the course.

We couldn’t do this without our incredible sponsors, partners, and volunteers—thank you for making it all possible. Rest up tonight, and we’ll see you in the morning!
