Cub Scouts Pack 420 North Sewickley Township

More friends more fun! We are happy to invite all boys and girls grades K-5 to visit us for an introduction to scouting. Visit us and see what sort of activities we do, meet the leaders and meet the scouts.

Scouting is more than a fun activity. It’s a program for the whole family where kids begin to learn about leadership, teamwork and community. Hope to see lots of new faces on Tuesday!

Cub Scouts Pack 420 is officially in the Aviation Trails District as Beaver Valley District and Frontier District have merged. You will be noticing our Facebook name changing to Cub Scouts Pack 420 North Sewickley Township to reflect our pack number and our hometown. We still happily serve youth in North Sewickley, Ellwood, Beaver Falls, New Brighton, and other surrounding towns. We are still meet at North Sewickley Presbyterian Church. Same great unit just with a new District home and name

Pack 420 along with our Brand new Troop 420 were honored to present the colors at the Pittsburgh Pirates Game last night! 14 Scouts and 5 leaders had the opportunity to represent our community, our newly formed Aviation Trails District and Scouting America as part of the Pirates Scouts night.

This year our pack had a special Scoutsgiving meeting where we thought about what we are thankful for, shared some of our faith traditions and collected items to give as gifts to the residents of Providence Heath anf Rehab center. We were able to deliver over 50 gifts today on Christmas Eve!!

Pack 420 had 16 Scouts, and 13 adults enjoy marching in the 100th annual New Brighton Halloween Parade this October. We had a ton of fun!!

This Fall Pack 420 had 14 youth and 12 adults attend Fall Family Adventure Camp at Seven Ranges Scout Reserve in Ohio. We had a wonderful time! We enjoyed the beautiful weather, we fished, we did crafts and we enjoyed range and target sports.

In November Pack 420 celebrated Veterans! We had Scouts who braved the cold to march in the Veterans Day Parade, passing out 100 American flags to the spectators and notes of thanks to the veterans. We also collected 48 lbs of candy as part of a Treats for Troops program. We delivered the candy, along with an assortment of scout popcorn, our “We love our Veterans” sign, and some thank you cards to the US Army Reserve Center in Wheeling, WV.

We love our Veterans!! Thank you to all who have served!!
