Youth Services Systems is partnering with Sleep in Heavenly Peace - WV, Monongalia Co to provide beds to 30 children ages 3-17 in the greater Wheeling area who are sleeping in unsafe or unwanted conditions, including on floors, sofas or sharing a bed with parents or siblings.

The beds will be built on August 29 and provided to children in our community who need a safe, comfortable place to sleep.

Families can apply online for a free bed at https://shpbeds.org/chapter/wv-monongalia-co/

Agencies and caseworkers can also submit an application on behalf of their clients.

SHP says it best, "No kids sleep on the floor in our town."

Wheeling Housing Authority offers rent based on 30 percent of your adjusted income or a flat rent option. Eligibility includes being 18 or older and meeting income limits. Apply now while the waiting lists are open. Keep your contact info updated by calling us this week at 304-242-4447 ext. 1000.
