Elm Mott Volunteer Fire & Rescue

Elm Mott Volunteer Fire & Rescue Firefighting - one of the few professions left that still makes house calls since 1955

Volunteer firefighters serve the community by responding to a wide variety of situations, ranging from emergencies that immediately threaten life or property to routine citizen requests for information or assistance. They perform duties in the following general categories: fire suppression, emergency medical aid or rescue, hazardous material responses, training, and building inspection and public education.

Join us in congratulating Hagen Kelley on graduating from MCC Fire Protection Technology Fire Academy Class #67.

Hagen began his journey with Elm Mott Fire Rescue back in 2018 at just 16 years old, stepping up to serve his community early. Since then, he’s continued to grow, completing his EMT certification and now the Fire Academy.

Your commitment, discipline, and heart to serve don’t go unnoticed. We’re proud to have you as part of the team and even more excited to see what’s ahead for you.

Congratulations, Hagen, well earned.

Elm Mott Fire Rescue is proud to have received a grant from Hilco today. This funding will allow us to begin replacing our aging fire hose, an investment that comes at a critical time as we prepare for the upcoming wildland season. It will directly enhance our ability to protect and serve our community. We appreciate Hilco’s continued partnership and support in helping us keep our community safe.

As fire season approaches, departments like ours are already responding to major incidents, made possible by dedicated volunteers who drop everything to serve their communities.

Chief Pechacek said it best: there’s a place for everyone to help. Whether it’s on the front lines or supporting behind the scenes, it takes all of us. Thanks to Lauren Westbrook KWTX for bringing awareness to the need for help in our communities.

If you’re interested in volunteering, send us a DM and a member of our team will reach out.

For those who would like to support financially, donations can be mailed to:
