Founded in 1872, the Blossom Volunteer Fire Company provides Fire, Rescue, and Emergency Medical Services to the Town of Elma.

We are proudly 100% Volunteer and staffed by members who serve their community professionally.

It is with a heavy heart that the members of the Blossom Fire Company announce the passing of our beloved life member Richard Danitz.

Dick completed 55 years membership in 2025. From 1984 to 2024 Dick has served as our Treasurer for 40 consecutive years. He also served on our board of directors for several years. As a retired carpenter, he always loved helping with small projects around the firehall. We deeply appreciate everything he has done for us over the years.

We our sending our deepest condolences to his family while they navigate this time. Rest in peace brother.

🔥 We will be at our firehall every Thursday from 7pm-9pm with tickets until sold out.

🎟️ Please message us if you need tickets! We rarely have entry tickets to sell at the door, make sure you get them before they are gone!

Tonight Blossom firefighters along with our friends at Twin District Volunteer Fire Company did a live burn at the Cheektowaga Tower.

We want to thank the instructors for taking the time to come out and work with us and all the members who came and participated.

Blossom Fire Company participated in the Wales-Marilla 250th Celebration parade today. We had so much fun being a part of this!

Tonight we will be assisting the town of Elma and all Elma fire companies with a standby at Iroquois for the fireworks display. 🎇

We hope everyone has fun and as always be safe!!! 🎆

Thursday night our members got together to clean our trucks for the Wales-Marilla 250th parade Saturday the 4th at 2pm!!

Blossom and Spring Brook Fire District #1 are currently on scene of a 2 car MVA at Bullis Rd and Winspear Rd.

Please drive with caution, slow down and pull over for emergency vehicles and watch out for our first responders.
