EMW Football and Cheerleading is looking for the following Board Member positions to be filled for the 2017 season all are encouraged to apply please contact Jim Michalek at

A Board Member if appointed must:
- pass a background check done by the organization
- become certified by National Youth Sports Coaches Alliance (NYSCA)

Any letter of intent received will be reviewed at our January board meeting, at which any interested candidate will also be invited to attend.

The EMW Cheerleaders are working hard to sell Bills vs Baltimore Football Squares for the season opener game on September 11, 2016. Squares are sold on a first come first serve basis and are $25 a square to raise money for competition music for each cheer squad. Tickets are avaliable at the door for $20 come on out and enjoy the evening well supporting the athletes of EMW Football and Cheerleading. Tickets include beer, pop, wine and light appetizers. Basket raffle, volleyball games, dancing and more throughout the night. stop by for an hour or stay all night. we cant wait to see you there.

As summer is about to begin EMW Football and Cheerleading would like to remind of some important things:

Currently, Registration for the 2016 is still available please be reminded that it is $100 for the registration costs and for football players we can not guarantee the jersey number.

Furthermore, Pizza day at Pizza Del Aureo's in East Aurora is this Monday June 6 all day long just order from Pizza Del Aureo's and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to our organization. Do I hear dinner?

Finally, We are currently looking to fill the open position of Treasurer on the EMW Football and Cheerleading Board. If you are interested please send a letter stating your intentions to Jim Michalek at [email protected]

Reminder: In Person Registration Today at the Creek Road Fields from 11 to 3. A reminder that you are able to split the price and use our payment plan option online. Registration prices increase to $100 on June 1, 2016 and at that point the jersey number will be chosen by the organization.

EMW Football and Cheerleading would like to extend their utmost gratitude and thankfulness to everyone who helped make last night's meat raffle a wonderful success,

We are happy to announce that we were able to raise over $9000.00 for our young athletes. This remarkable achievement would not have been possible without your help and support.

Moreover, A huge thank you goes out to Amanda Nolan, our meat raffle chair person, whose hard work and determination was the driving force behind this event.

Furthermore we would like to thank Jamison Road Fire Company for the use of the hall and for their support.

Thank all of our athletes who helped us out last night.

As of today The Ways and Means Board Position is open. If you are interested please send a letter of intent to the President of EMW Football and Cheerleading Jim Michalek at [email protected] by our March Meeting Deadline of Friday, March 11, 2016

Anyone who submits a letter is expected to be at the March Board Meeting on Tuesday, March 15, 2016 to be interviewed and for voting to commence on the position. Contact Jim with questions or concerns.

The following Board Voting positions are still available and a similar letter of intent needs to be sent to Jim by the deadline date.

Due to the importance of these positions we are looking to fill them ASAP.
