Happy National Custodian Day!

We have the absolute best team working to keep our schools clean and safe every day. Our custodial staff at both CQA I and CQA II are a big part of why our schools are so welcoming, warm and special.

Today, scholars presented them with notes, cards, gifts and treats to show how much they are appreciated.

Please join us in thanking them for their hard work and dedication!

2026 New York State assessment exam results are in!

We’re pleased to share that our scholars once again outperformed their peers across our home District 24, New York City and New York State.

In ELA, 79% of CQA scholars overall tested proficient in grades 3-8 compared to 48% in those grades across the state.

In math, 89% of CQA scholars overall in grades 3-7 tested proficient compared to 58% in those grades across the state. Our 8th grade scholars take the high school-level Algebra 1 exam in place of the 8th grade state math exam. This year 88% of them passed the exam.

Additionally, 90% of our 8th grade scholars passed the Earth Science Regents exam.
